Clouds & Sky

Mostly clear describes a sky condition where only a small amount of cloud cover is present and most of the sky remains clear.

Overcast describes a sky condition where clouds cover nearly all or all of the visible sky, creating a continuous or nearly continuous cloud layer.

Partly cloudy describes a sky condition where clouds cover part of the sky while a substantial amount of clear sky remains visible.

Mostly cloudy describes a sky condition where clouds cover most of the sky, but some areas of clear sky remain visible.

Clear skies occur when little or no cloud cover is present, leaving most or all of the sky unobstructed by clouds.

Low cloud cover occurs when clouds form close to the ground, often creating grey or overcast skies and sometimes reducing visibility.
